HOW CAN I PLACE AN ORDER WITH YOU?

The quickest way for you to order is online via our website. If you are an existing customer with login details, please log in to your account.

If you have not ordered with us before, you can checkout as a guest and pay via card. New Corporate Companies can sign up for an account which will give you the option to pay via invoice. New Account Requests are usually activated within 24 hours.

DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENT?

Yes, we do. Our minimum order spend is £30 plus VAT. If your order is less than this, you will be charged a £10 delivery fee plus VAT at checkout.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Our Cancellation Policy can be found below

We understand that sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule your catering. Due to stock ordering, kitchen preperation and resource planning, we request that you cancel any orders before 2pm the day before your delivery, you can do this online, on our website or by phone. Any cancellations in line with this policy will receive a 100% refund.

Orders cancelled after 2pm the day before your delivery will be charged in full.

WHEN IS THE LATEST I CAN ORDER FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY?

Cold Food & Breakfast

We, like any other business, like as much notice as possible, so we can plan effectively. However, we know that isn’t always possible with catering. As standard we allow customers to order up until 2pm for next day delivery, the quickest way to do this is online. Sending emails close to the cut off could mean your order may not get accepted as we may have already reached capacity for the following day. As with any business we have an Operational capacity limit in the kitchen and delivery team. There are times, albeit exceedingly rare, that we have to stop taking orders for next day prior to 2pm.

Hot Food

Unfortunately, we cannot accept hot food orders for next day delivery. We need at least 4 working days notice of any Hot Lunch requirements.

WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE MISSED THE 2pm CUT OFF FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY?

Don’t worry, not all is lost. Please give us a call as soon as possible on and we will do our very best to help you. If we can’t, due to being a maximum capacity we will point you in the direction of some good caterers in the area who may be able to help.

HOW AND WHEN WILL BE ORDER BE DELIVERED?

Your order will be packed into insulated cool bags and delivered to you in refrigerated vans by a uniformed driver. The food is safe in the cool bags for 3 hours at the point of delivery (providing you keep them out of direct sunlight). After 3 hours, you can either pop the food in the fridge if things are really overrunning. Once the food leaves the cool bags, you have 90 minutes to consume the food under EHO guidelines. All food must be consumed on day of delivery.

When ?

At the point of ordering, you will choose your delivery slot. You will receive your food no later than the slot you chose. You may receive your food a litter earlier than expected, for two reasons, but don’t worry the food is in cool bags:

  • 1) Economical Delivery Routes: So far with the rapid rise in fuel costs, we have not increased our RRP’s, therefore, from a cost and an environmental perspective we need to make the delivery routes, as efficient as possible. You can read our sustainability policy here.
  • 2) To Fit Everyone In: No matter how many delivery slots we offer, 99% of people will chose 11.30-12pm as their desired delivery time. You are ordering lunch and need it at lunch time. In order to keep our menu prices competitive, we need to deliver in as few delivery vans as possible. More Vans = More Staff = More Costs = Higher RRP’s and nobody wants to be paying more than they have to at the moment.
  • How?

    On the day of delivery, you will receive an email from your driver letting you know when your delivery is next on the route with an estimated time of arrival.

    WHAT DO I DO WITH THE COOL BAGS AND FOOD PACKAGING AFTER DELIVERY?

    Cool Bags

    Please keep these and will return to collect them. Usually, it’s the next day but if its better for the environment to come a few days later and collect your cool bags with other customers near you, then we will wait.

    Eco Boxes

    As part of our commitment to using less single use plastics. All our cardboard eco boxes are fully biodegradable. They can either go in the recycling bin or if you are keen gardener, they can go in your compost bin/heap.

    Bamboo Boards, Lids, Bamboo Bowls, and Serving Utensils

    Please keep these, no need to clean them. Pop them in the cool bags and we will collect everything in one go. The Bamboo Boards attract “Office Magpies” and as much as they make for great presentation boards for biscuits and a superb cheese board for home, they are expensive. If you catch someone trying to snuffle it away, grab them. We count all bamboo boards, bowls and serving utensils per customer and count them on collection. Anything missing and our MD will insist an invoice is sent your way and the Bamboo boards are £25 each plus VAT!!!!

    Crates

    To keep some items more secure in the cool bags, we sometimes put the cool bags in crates. Please keep the crates for collection or feel free to give them back to the driver on delivery.

    HOW DO WE PAY YOU?

    If you are ordering as a Guest (without an online ordering account), your only option will be to pay via card on checkout.

    If you are a corporate company and would like us to invoice you and you are not an existing customer. You can sign up for an online account.

    New Accounts are usually approved within 24 hours, as long you aren’t requesting very long payment terms. Once your account is approved you can log in and order and either pay by invoice or card.

    DO YOU CATER FOR DIETARY, ALLERGY & RELIGIOUS REQUIREMENTS?

    Yes, we have a great range of Dietary menus including Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Vegan, which can be ordered Here You must chose a suitable Menu for the person, as its prepared differently than our main menus. We advise that you read the below as well.

    DIETARY

    If an individual is on a specific diet for either health or medical reasons, please review our Dietary Menus (Here), the chances are there is something suitable for the person. We also have a superb range of high protein salads (here) for anyone on a reduced carb and increased protein diet.

    If you can’t find a suitable menu, please contact us, we will ask the following information, without the answers to these, we will struggle to create something suitable for the individual:

  • 1) Are they are a meat eater
  • 2) Do they have a specific health requirement, e.g. Chrones Disease
  • 3) Are they allergic to something or is it preference.
  • 4) Is there something they really enjoy or would prefer in their lunch
  • ALLERGIES

    The reason why we ask you to choose one of our Dietary Menus for anyone with an allergy is because all of these menus have been specifically designed to include items suitable for the allergen in question. These menus are made first thing in the morning before any other items are made in order to reduce possible cross contamination.

    Nut Allergies

    Our kitchen handles nuts and has both nut and nut products in it. We will happily provide a nut free meal for you; however, we CANNOT guarantee a no nut trace. You must make us aware of anyone with a nut allergy and we will then provide you with a Disclaimer which must be returned to us, confirming the individual is aware of the above. If the disclaimer is not returned, we will not make a nut free meal for you.

    Religious Requirements

    We cater for almost all religious requirements such as Halal, with one exception…Kosher. Its exceptionally complex and we could write a small novel on why we cannot provide Kosher meals.

    CAN YOU CREATE BESPOKE MENUS?

    We believe our menus give our customers great variety. However, food is an incredibly subjective and we are more than happy to create bespoke menus for you if they are required. We want to make your life easier, therefore, we will work with you to create something which works for you and your guests.

    CAN YOU CATER FOR LARGE EVENTS?

    Yes, our operations allow us to cater for large events, whether that be BQQ’s or large conference events. We will also happily cater for large private functions. Please contact james@ilovecatering.co.uk

    I DON’T HAVE ANY TABLES/CHAIRS/GLASSES ETC, DO YOU HIRE THESE ITEMS?

    At the moment we do not offer this services, however, please contact Jaspers Event Hire – Event Hire Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire (jaspershire.co.uk) and they may be able to help you.

    DO YOU CATER FOR EARLY MORNING, EVENING AND WEEKEND EVENTS?

    We will happily cater for you at anytime Monday-Friday. Be kind we must let our staff sleep at some point!

    Weekends, very much depend on how many people you need feeding and if we have availability. Please contact us with any weekend requirements.

    CAN YOU SUPPLY US WITH ALCOHOL?

    Yes, we hold an alcohol licence and can, therefore, deliver a selection of wines, beers, ciders, and fizz to you. These aren’t on our website, so please contact us.

    HOW OFTEN DO YOU CHANGE THE VARIETY WITH YOUR FOOD?

    We appreciate that a lot of our customers order with us multiple times a week and we don’t want people to get bored.

    We rotate our sandwich fillings, finger foods and cakes daily.

    We also make seasonal tweaks and changes to our menus to make the most of what’s in season and give you some additional variety.
